Body Imaging/General Radiology
Body imaging encompasses techniques aimed at diagnosing diseases of the
gastrointestinal, genitourinary, cardiac, pulmonary and musculoskeletal
systems. The body imaging section at SRP includes radiologists with specialized
fellowship training in all these areas. Modalities used to image these organs
include fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance.
Training in the body imaging area include residencies and fellowships at various
prestigious institutions, such as Baylor University Medical Center, University
of Alabama - Birmingham, Hershey Medical Center, Vanderbilt University,
M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Duke University Medical Center and University
of Florida.
