Cardiothoracic
Diagnosis in the cardiothoracic area has been enhanced in recent years
by new imaging techniques, using multi-slice CT and MRI. These are capable
of demonstrating both fine detail of normal structures and subtle disease
processes previously undetectable without invasive procedures. Our subspecialty
trained radiologists are experts in the interpretation of pulmonary CT and
cardiac CT and MRI.
Training in the cardiothoracic area includes residencies and fellowships at
some of the nation's most prestigious institutions, including: the Washington
University School of Medicine, Duke University Medical center, the Cleveland
Clinic Foundation, University of Michigan and Vanderbilt University.
